Using a Secure File Transfer Protocol

client it is easy to connect to the Linux

server and access the file structure.

Shown here is the Filezilla client. Use

the “nortel” account to login as this will

allow the best access to files and

directories.

To set up a connection click on the SITE

MANAGER icon arrowed which will

open the dialogue shown. Add the host

IP address to connect to and select the

server type SFTP.

The logon type is NORMAL and add the

account to use for login in this case

“nortel” as its Rel 6 but on Rel 7.5

systems “admin2”. When you connect

you will be placed in the home directory

for the login account i.e. /home/nortel .
