To enable the FQDN resolution to an IP

address add a line at the bottom of the

file similar to that shown in the example.

TLAN IP Address Server

FQDN

Save the file and test the resolution by

trying a ping from a DOS window to the

FQDN. e.g.

>ping CPPM-Cores.CS1K.com

The result should return the IP address

of the server.
